Oil prices are edging higher on Friday morning supported by US president Barack Obama's job package plan and stormy weather threatening oil facilities in the Gulf of Mexico.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 114.76/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.21 on Thursday's close.
On Nymex, the WTI October contract was last seen at USD 89.16/bbl, up USD 0.11 on previous close.
