Commodities - Oil firms late in session

Prices for crude oil strengthened Monday despite showing signs of weakness earlier in the session.
InLondon, the front-month Brent contract closed the session at USD 128.02/barrel, a gain of 24 cents on the previous close.  The contract had traded at a low of USD 125.62/bbl earlier in the session after opening at USD 127.22/bbl. The session-high was USD 129.25/bbl.In New York, the front-month WTI contract for light sweet crude oil gained 41 cents on the previous, closing at USD 1
