Oil prices are trading firmer as the dollar is retreating from Friday's rally that was prompted by the "first bit of good news on the US jobs market for two years”, players said on Monday.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 77.83/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.31 on Friday's close.
On Nymex, the WTI January contract was last seen at USD 75.75/bbl, up USD 0.28 on Friday's close.
