Brent crude oil prices are extending gains on Friday morning after rising nearly USD 3 on Thursday as major central banks moved to provide liquidity to European banks.
The new front month contract, November, for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 112.89/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.59 on Thursday's close.
On Thursday Brent prices rose sharply with the October contract gaining USD 2.94 to USD 115.34/bbl, while the November contract settled up USD 2.65 at USD 112.30/bbl.
