Prices for crude oil rose Thursday, closing above USD 100/barrel in both London and New York.
On the Intercontinental exchange, the April contract for Brent crude gained USD 2.93 on the previous session to settle at USD 100.90/b. Earlier in the session, the contract had traded at a high of USD 101.27 and a low of USD  97.45/b. After reaaching new record highs yesterday, crude oil prices eased off before close and are currently trading below the 100 dollar mark. Gas and carbon also fell in value yesteday while coal came up.
