Oil prices are falling on Tuesday morning as milder weather forecasts in the US are likely to reduce demand, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands down USD 0.49 at USD 80.48/bbl, while the WTI February contract on Nymex traded USD 0.43 lower at USD 82.09/bbl.
On Monday, the Brent contract shed USD 0.40 to close at USD 80.97/bbl, while the WTI contract finished USD 0.23 lower at USD 82.52/bbl after hitting a 15-month high of USD 83.95/bbl.
