Oil prices are trading a touch softer on Monday morning as geopolitical tensions ease on two fronts with a fragile ceasefire in Gaza and the Russia-Ukraine gas row apparently resolved.
The front-month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 46.36/bbl on the ICE platform, down 21 cents on Friday's close.
A ceasefire has begun between Israel and Palestinian militants in Gaza, the conflict a significant driver of oil prices over the past few days.
