Oil prices are looking a touch softer on Monday morning after falling USD 1.50 in the previous session on India's decision to raise interest rates and US dollar strength, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 79.40/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.48 on Friday's close.
On Friday, the Brent front month closed USD 1.60 weaker at USD 79.88/bbl, while the WTI April contract lost USD 1.52 to settle at USD 80.68/bbl.
