Commodities - Oil ends volatile session higher

Oil prices were volatile in Friday's session, while prices for gas and coal traded down compared with the previous close.
In London, the September contract for North Sea crude oil traded at a high and low of USD 127.94/barrel and USD 121.94/bbl respectively, after opening the session at USD 123.42/bbl. It closed at USD 124.18/bbl, 20 cents higher than the previous close.
