Oil prices are ticking higher on Wednesday morning following Tuesday's American Petroleum Industry (API) report which showed a drop in US crude inventories over the last week, analysts said.
On Nymex, the WTI July contract was last seen USD 0.20 firmer at USD 72.20/bbl.
Meanwhile, the front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 72.36/bbl, USD 0.06 higher day on day.
