WTI is edging higher on Wednesday morning following the strong gains seen late in the previous session as fears regarding Iranian threats to choke supply from the Middle East continue to have an impact.
The front month contract for Brent crude North Sea oil was last seen USD 0.10 softer at USD 109.17/bbl, while its WTI counterpart on Nymex was last dealt USD 0.14 firmer at USD 101.48/bbl.
On Tuesday, Brent closed up USD 1.31 at USD 109.27/bbl, while WTI ended the session up USD 1.66 at USD 101.34/bbl.
