Oil prices are edging higher on Friday morning after opening slighter softer as markets wait for a change of leadership in debt-stricken Italy.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil opened the session at USD 113.07/bbl and was last seen changing hands at USD 113.65/bbl on the Ice platform, which pared back the day-on-day loss to just USD 0.06.
The WTI December contract on Nymex last traded USD 0.28 higher at USD 98.06/bbl.
