Oil prices are edging higher on Wednesday morning ahead of expectations that US crude inventory data would show a decline for the seventh week running, players said.
The front month contract for Brent crude North Sea oil was last seen changing hands at USD 98.09/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.29 on Tuesday's close.
On Nymex, meanwhile, the WTI February contract last traded USD 0.43 higher at USD 91.80/bbl.
Expectations are for the EIA inventory report due out on Thursday to post around a 1m bbl decline in crude stocks, follow
