Oil prices are edging downwards on Thursday on the back of a larger than expected rise in US crude stocks and bearish economic data.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 121.13/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.06 on Wednesday's close, while the WTI June contract on Nymex traded USD 0.28 lower at USD 108.96/bbl.
US commercial crude oil inventories rose by 3.4m bbl to 366.5m bbl in the week ending 29 April, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA)
