The soft sentiment continued in the oil and coal markets on Thursday. Carbon prices are quite stable while gas prices regained some of the losses from Wednesday.
Oil prices sank to a two-month low yesterday after Opec said it did not expect to reduce production for the rest of the year, the Financial Times reports. Nymex West Texas Intermediate for September delivery fell USD 1.23 to USD 70.66 a barrel, which is the lowest level since June 26. The front Brent month settled at USD 71.58 a barrel, down USD 1.25, but has strengthened slightly this morning,
