Commodities - Oil drops on lower demand

Gloomy world economic outlooks continue to push oil downwards on Thursday morning.
The front month WTI contract was traded at USD 54.67/barrel Thursday morning, continuing the movements from Wednesday, when the contract lost 3.17 to settle at USD 56.16/barrel. Brent crude was last seen at USD 53.64, down 89 cents from yesterday, when it dropped USD 3.34.Market players were reacting to gloomy economic forecasts and plunging stock markets.
