Oil and coal markets continued to move in opposite directions Monday, although prices for Brent crude appeared to be regaining some strength early Tuesday.
In London, the August contract for Brent North Sea crude oil closed Monday's session at USD 141.87/barrel, which was USD 2.55 lower than the previous close.It opened the session at USD 144.40, before reaching a high and low of USD 144.86/bbl and USD 140.33/bbl respectively. The market moved up again early Tuesday however, with the August contract seen traded at USD 142.89/bbl
