Gas prices moved north yesterday despite the easing of crude oil markets. Coal was relatively stable, while carbon continued further south.
Crude oil prices continued weakening in Monday’s trading session as concerns over disturbance to oil production abated after Hurricane Wilma steered away from the Gulf of Mexico region that is hosting many US oil production and refinery facilities, Financial Times reports. The Nymex WTI contract for December traded in an intraday range of USD 59.30-60.50/bbl, closing the day at 60.
