Oil prices are correcting down on Friday morning after sharp gains in the previous session on the back of a weakening dollar, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 69.25/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.52 on Thursday's close.
On Thursday, the contract rose USD 2.57 to settle at USD 69.77/bbl after the dollar hit a 14-month low against a basket of currencies, players said. The front month WTI contract gained USD 2.12 on Thursday to settle
