Oil prices are softening on Tuesday morning, after stock markets closed lower on Monday as the previous week's rally came to a halt, said players.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 57.11/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.37 on Monday's settlement, when the contract traded in a USD 56.31-58.09/bbl range and ended the day USD 0.66/bbl down on Friday's close.
