Oil prices are rising ahead of the much anticipated US Federal Reserve meeting later and following Monday's rally on bullish comments from the Saudi oil minister, players said on Tuesday.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 85.06/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.44 on Monday's close.
On Monday, the Brent front month jumped USD 1.47 to settle at USD 84.65/bbl, while in New York the WTI front month contract gained USD 1.52 to USD 82.95/bbl.
