Brent crude oil prices are extending Friday's 2.5% plunge on Monday morning as energy markets reacting bearishly to election results in France and Greece on Sunday, an analyst said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 112.29/bbl on the Ice platform, down USD 0.89 on Friday's close.
On Nymex, the WTI front month contract was last seen at USD 96.95/bbl, down USD 1.54 on previous close.
