Commodities - Oil continues climb after Thursday's rally

Oil prices are continuing to rise on Friday on stronger equity markets following sharp gains in the previous session, players said.  
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 70.62/bbl, up 51 cents on the previous close. On Thursday, the contract closed at USD 70.11/bbl, up USD 3.58 day on day. In New York, the front month contract for light sweet crude oil closed at USD 66.94/bbl, up USD 3.59 day on day.
