Oil prices are hovering around the USD 70/bbl level on Wednesday morning, with players awaiting direction from the US crude inventory report due out later, players said.
The August front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 70.64/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.40 on Tuesday's close.
Meanwhile, the Nymex WTI front month contract was last seen traded at USD 70.77/bbl, up USD 0.30 on Tuesday's settlement price.
