Oil prices ultimately moved up on Wednesday as figures showing strong US economic growth overshadowed news of healthy stockpiles.
The Brent crude front month delivery traded between USD 55.16 and 57.55 a barrel, before ending the day ay 57.40, up 1.01 from the previous close.
