Oil prices are strengthening on Tuesday morning, after a drop late on Monday on the back of grim global economic news, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 47.44/bbl on the ICE platform, up 48 cents on Monday's close.
The Brent contract for March delivery settled on Monday at USD 46.96/bbl, down USD 1.41 on the previous close, over growing concerns about global economic conditions, analysts said.
