On Monday crude oil, gas and continental day-ahead power took a clear bullish turn. However, the dark stuff, coal and carbon, moved in the opposite direction.
Forecasts for colder weather in the US and Europe had a bullish impact on the oil market on Monday, as demand is expected to climb in the coming months and there are concerns that stocks may not be able to cope. In London , Brent crude for January delivery increased 46 cents to close at USD 55.34 a barrel, while in New York the WTI contract for January closed up 49 cents to end at 57.70
