Commodities - Mostly downward

Prices fell in the oil, coal and carbon markets, whilst there were some marginal gains on the TTF gas market.
The oil prices eased as hurricane Chris turned out to be less threatening than expected, moving slowly away from the Gulf of Mexico towards Cuba.On ICE Brent, September crude lost 33 cents in value from Wednesday settling at USD 76.56/barrel yesterday, whilst the corresponding Nymex contract fell 0.35 to USD 75.46/ barrel.Carbon The benchmark December 06 ECX c

The fears of hurricane damages in the Gulf of Mexico are pushing oil prices further towards the skies. Carbon continues to hover between 16 and 17 euros while gas prices increase.
