Commodities - Mixed Tuesday

Oil prices retreated on Tuesday as traders searched for clues about the policy outcome of today's Opec meeting in Abu Dhabi. Carbon on the other hand, climbed on speculation and a bullish energy complex.
The WTI January contract at Nymex closed at USD 88.32 a barrel (-0.99) after having traded at USD 89.96 early in the session. InLondon, the Brent crude contract for January delivery ended the day at USD 89.53/barrel (-0.27) after a strong start had brought the contract to USD 90.46.The drop in prices happened hours ahead of an Opec meeting in Abu Dhabi, where the outcome was uncertain, W
