Oil, carbon and TTF gas started subdued into the new trading week but remained on firm price levels. In contrast, Zeebrugge gas as well as coal forwards on the API#2 curve maintained their recent upward movements.
Oil prices softened during the Monday trading session and dropped for the third day in a row by around USD 2/bbl. Yesterday, NYMEX Crude for August delivery settled at USD 58.92, down 0.71 on Friday, while the IPE Brent future contract for the front month lost 0.76 to 57.44. Prices on the curve moved downwards after hurricane Denise has missed oil installations as well as tanker traffic
