Crude oil and coal prices firmed Monday compared with the previous session, while natural gas prices in the UK saw losses on the curve despite a stronger picture on the prompt.
The Brent crude fromt mont on the ICE exchange closed at USD 91.38/barrel Monday, up 48 cents on the previous. On the Nymex exchange in New York, the contract settled at USD USD 90.99 a barrel, up 28 cents. The contract traded lower Tuesday morning though, with a last trade on ICE seen at USD 91.28, having hit highs and lows of USD 91.58/bbl and USD 91.18/bbl earlier in the session.
