While European gas prices headed down on milder forecasts, oil rose yesterday on concerns over US gasoline supplies.
European gas prices headed down across the board yesterday, as milder temperatures are reducing demand. In the UK market, the day-ahead contract for Wednesday fell 1.03 to 16.17 p/th while the front month dropped 0.20 to 17.25. Q3-07 lost 0.30 to 17.80 while Winter 07 ended the day at 44.24 (-0.10).Similarly on the Dutch TTF hub, day-ahead dropped 0.55 to EUR 8.80/MWh, May fell 15 cents
