While oil and coal prices firmed on Friday, carbon fell in value.
Crude oil markets ended up some thirty cents on Friday after hovering on both sides of the previous day’s fixing price. In New York, the WTI for December settled up 39 cents at USD 60.75/bbl, having traded within a 59.85-61.00 range during the day. The Brent for December gained 31 cents to USD 61.08/bb. In London, the deals on the December Brent contract went through between 60.13 and 61.
