Commodities - Mainly down

Prices fell in the oil, coal and carbon markets on Friday, while the picture was less clear in the gas market.
Prices in the oil market softened on Friday on the back of speculation that economic growth was slowing in the US at the same time as fighting in Iraq eased.The WTI crude oil contract on Nymex lost USD 1.96 to close at USD 105.62/barrel after having peaked at USD 107.63/barrel. The Brent oil contract for May delivery in London followed the same pattern, finishing the week at USD 103.77/b
