Commodities - Looking for direction

Carbon prices lost value also on Tuesday with market participants pointing to continued softening gas and oil prices. On the coal market, prices moved slightly upwards.
Carbon continued it’s down ward movement during the Tuesday trading session. At ECX, the 2005 vintage with December delivery was traded between EUR 21.25/t and 21.85 and settled at the end of the day at 21.60, down 0.50 on Monday. The corresponding Nord Pool contract changed hands in a range of 21.40 and 21.75, ending at 21.75 (- 0.50). Last Thursday, it was traded as high as 24.50 at the

Oil prices recovered some lost strength yesterday, rising almost 2 dollars from Tuesday after weaker than expected inventory figures were published. Carbon prices were also lifted yesterday, possibly due to higher German power prices.

Oil prices recovered some lost strength yesterday, rising almost 2 dollars from Tuesday after weaker than expected inventory figures were published. Carbon prices were also lifted yesterday, possibly due to higher German power prices.
