Crude prices are continuing to rise on Thursday as oil infrastructure in Libya has been put out of action in the ongoing conflict, further exacerbating concerns about supply, and on a release of bullish German economic data.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 116.41/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.47 on Wednesday's close, while the WTI April contract on Nymex traded USD 0.45 higher at USD 104.83/bbl.
