Commodities - High nerves in the gas market

UK gas prices remained very high yesterday, with intraday trades temporarily reaching 225 p/th during the day before prices eased in the afternoon.
Within day prices on the National Balancing Point reached 225 p/th during yesterday, but eased back to a spread of 135-155 p/th at the end of the day after National Grid said it would not repeat Monday’s warning about tight supplies. Day-ahead fell back 35.75 p/th to end the day at a midpoint of 153.50 p/th while prices for the weekend and next week increased.Supply worries caused
