Oil prices have jumped above 75 dollars Thursday morning as figures from the US show weakening inventories and strong demand. Meanwhile, political tensions in the Middle East remain high.
The benchmark front month crude contract at Nymex is trading at USD 75.22/barrel this morning, up 27 cents from yesterday’s close. Similarly in London , Brent crude for August is approaching the 75 dollar mark with a last trade of 74.94 at the ICE.Yesterday, front month Brent gained 72 cents to USD 74.39/barrel while the benchmark crude contract at Nymex settled up 79 cents at 74.
