Oil prices are falling on Thursday following the release of bearish US gasoline data and bleak US economy projections, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 108.70/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 1.66 on Wednesday's close, while the WTI November contract on Nymex traded USD 1.45 lower at USD 84.47/bbl.
US gasoline inventories increased by 3.3m bbl to 214.1m bbl in the week ending 16 September, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA)
