Commodities – Gas gains

Gas markets showed most strength on Friday with gains seen across the board both in the UK as well as on the continent. Crude oil eased, while CO2 edged a touch higher.
The Continental and UK gas hubs saw only gains in Friday’s session. The NBP market saw the day-ahead (13 March) rising 4.50p/th to a midpoint value of slightly above the 60p/th mark. The front month was up 0.70 at 48.40p/th, while winter 06 jumped 3.50 to close the day at a midpoint of 78.60p/th. Cal 07 gained 1.50 to 60.35p/th.
