Commodities - Gains for coal and oil

While coal and oil prices gained on Friday, other power related commodities were more mixed.
The price of crude oil rose on Friday which some market participants attributed to geo-political concerns and speculative trading. Brent crude oil extended yesterday's losses this morning, but has since climbed nearly back up to Thursday's settlement price of USD 96.24 a barrel. The rest of the fuel complex was bullish on Thursday.
