Commodities - Firm, strong and up

Carbon prices showed only few movements on Wednesday but “rested on a high level,” one market participant said. Oil climbed further up and prices below USD 60 barrel begin to appear as relatively moderate. On the back of this development, also gas prices firmed.
Oil prices maintained their journey to the north for the fourth day in a row. At NYMEX, August Crude settled at USD 61.28/barrel, up 1.69. The two following months settled above the 62 mark, and November costs already over 63 bucks. At IPE, Brent contracts moved 1.25 upwards on average with August settling at 59.85 (+1.56). The following three months ended between 60.80 and 62.01.US crud

Commodity markets were markedly affected by the London blast on late Thursday morning. At IPE, intraday moves were relatively strong with August Brent plunging by over 5 dollar, before recovering to above the 59 dollar mark. Gas and coal firmed to higher values at the end of yesterday’s trading session.

At IPE, intraday moves were relatively strong with August Brent plunging by over 5 dollar, before recovering to above the 59 dollar mark.
