Crude oil prices traded below USD 80 a barrel on profit taking, but the players are not so sure that the movement will persist.
Oil for front month delivery shed USD 1.42 to USD 79.53 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude oil for November settled at USD 77.62 a barrel, down USD 1.29 on ICE.
