Oil is making tentative gains on Wednesday, with Brent crude rising back above USD 99/bbl, after the American Petroleum Institute reported stock levels had dropped more than three times what analysts had expected over the last week
.The front month contract for Brent crude North Sea oil was last traded at USD 99.21/bbl, up USD 0.37 day on day, and has been trading in a USD 98.71-99.45/bbl range in the current session, on the Ice exchange.
On Nymex, the front month WTI crude oil contract last changed hands at USD 84.83/bbl, up USD 0.53 day on day.
