Milder long term forecasts pushed down fuel and CO2 prices yesterday.
A temporary cold snap through Europe caused day-ahead prices in the European power and gas markets to rise yesterday, but the upturn is short lived as milder temperatures are forecast towards the weekend.The day-ahead UK gas contract at the NBP gained 1.75 to 30.62 p/th, but curve prices were down amid milder forecasts. Q2-07 fell 0.70 to 24.90 while Cal 08 ended the day at 36.80 (-0.65)
