Oil prices look a touch weaker on Thursday morning after bearish US inventory data in the US failed to bring prices down significantly in the previous session.
In London, the front month contract for North Sea crude oil was last seen traded at USD 49.36/bbl, down 45 cents on the previous session.
On Thursday, the contract closed at USD 49.81/bbl, down just 1 cent on the previous close. In New York, the front month WTI contract for light sweet crude oil closed USD 48.84/bbl, up 30 cents.
US inventory data came out higher
