Crude oil prices exceeded USD 90 a barrel for the first time in New York as the dollar dropped against euro. Coal prices also rose further on Thursday, while CO2 prices eased off.
Crude oil for November delivery reached USD 90.02 a barrel in after hours electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. This is the highest price since trading began in 1983, Bloomberg reports.
