Crude prices are correcting upwards on Wednesday morning following five consecutive days of losses - and seven-month lows on Tuesday - amid buying interest and a softer dollar, analysts said.
The front month contract for Brent crude North Sea oil was last seen USD 0.22 higher at USD 72.60/bbl, while the WTI contract on Nymex went through last USD 0.05 higher at USD 71.68/bbl.
On Tuesday, crude was seen trading at seven-month lows, with the Brent contract closing USD 1.24 lower at USD 72.38/bbl, while WTI ended the session USD 1.47 lower at USD 71.63/bbl.
