Coal is still going strong with high freight prices and difficult coal supply not indicating any immediate drop in the market. Meanwhile, oil lost in value on Friday, but players are not entirely convinced that this will last.
The Q4-07 contract settled at a midprice of USD 103.40/t on the API 2 curve, a USD 1.65 gain from Thursday and USD 2.90 higher than the previous Friday.
