Wednesday saw a strong commodities complex make further gains led by increases in oil and coal markets.
Oil prices traded down well below the previous session in the afternoon, but recovered in the evening as Washington played down hopes of an imminent supply increase by Saudi Arabia following a meeting of oil ministers on Sunday. As both the qualities and quantities of the expected extra barrels of oil remained elusive, the WTI front month contract recovered from a session low of 131.82 t
